Acting for a non UK contractor in proceedings where their subcontractor was seeking to enforce a substantial adjudication decision. This required the assembly of substantial technical, financial and evidential information in order to resist the application. Our work was successful and this has resulted in reported case law.
Acting for a specialist subcontractor in concurrent adjudication and arbitration proceedings relating to a rail project, where the cross claims exceeded £4million. The adjudication ran for in excess of 24 weeks and resulted in numerous cross applications and a Court of Appeal decision (reported case), and a 3 week arbitration hearing before a High Court Judge.
